Logistics
Scheduling
We work with our customers and clients to eliminate lost time in the shipping process. We use reputable and reliable transporters, and work to reduce the cost of shipments whenever possible. We will work with you to find the best method in getting product to and from our facility.
Shipping and Receiving
Our shipping and receiving department is the backbone of the logistics equation. They are the first to visually inspect and report the product coming into our facility. Likewise, they are the last people that will handle the product before it arrives to the customer. Quality and care is of the upmost importance to us.When your product arrives here at Osage, it is unloaded and reported in a quick and timely manner. We understand that turnaround is key in a production facility. We need to unload and account for your material without damaging goods. We have to be able to identify and double check that the material is correct. We also have to formulate receiver reports in an honest and accurate manner when time is of the essence.
The keys to our success are personnel and innovation.

We incorporate the use of fork truck scales to weigh all product in and out of our facility. This has become a vital part of our operation. By eliminating the use of traditional floor scales in this department, we have increased accuracy while decreasing time spent weighing material. These scales are calibrated continuously to ensure quality control.

Through our continuous Kaizen, we have recently integrated the use of an ipad as our reporting medium. This change alone has been monumental in our constant improvement. This all but eliminates errors as the programs streamline the whole process. This has also helped us reduce our paper waste, in another effort to do our part in helping the environment.

Reporting and Invoicing
Whether we are receiving a load from your facility, or are sending you a shipment of our recycled product, accuracy in reporting is vital. We format these reports in a user friendly manner. We establish terms that are recognizable for the both of us. This eliminates jargon that is hard to understand and can often times be a cause of user error.

After processing and reporting comes invoicing. Again, our personnel is what sets us apart from our competition. Experience is essential when it comes to accounting. One of the basics of economics is TMV or Time Value of Money. In short, this means a dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow. When you get paid in a quick and accurate manner, you can then turn around and re-invest that back into your company before changes in the market, like inflation or changes in pricing, can take effect.
